What Might Have Been...

A tough loss to take on Saturday, with Hotspurs down to 10 men 30 minutes into a game they had completely dominated up to that point. BHFC were in with a shout for most of the game, but it was always going to be a difficult task. Credit to the Japanese, who took advantage of the situation and scored a couple of nice goals to run out 3-1 winners in the end.

Hopurs dominated but

The game started delayed because of the thunders and rain. In the first half, both teams started the game with the ball in the middle of the pitch with few chances of goal. Around 30mins, after series of fighting for the ball, it seemed that one of players of the Hotspurs kicked our player and got red card. Even with 10 players, the Hotspurs dominated the game, tried for the goal and got us in danger but Nippon managed to lock the goal. In the 2nd half, Macky got the 1st goal of Nippon from the long distance. 2nd goal came soon after with the good drible by Kaki. Hotspurs reacted very much and got penalty but luckily for Nippon they missed it. Still Hotspurs made big pressure to Nippon defense and got the first one f rom the corner kick, 2-1. Being pressured, Nippon made effort only to maintain the score difference and made some substitutions which helped to finish the game with one more goal by Uchida, 3-1. Good game with fair play spirit from both side and looking forward to next confront with Hotspurs!
