Routine. This week we were at the second best pitch in singapore and with another depleted squad we were 13 strong! Couple of notes on a specific “player” who wasn’t at the game…a date! One player couldn’t make the game (also missed Sunday for same reason) because he had tinder’d his little paws off to finally dupe some poor soul in to going out with him. We can only imagine that he was a good old romantic and went to the movies followed by a milkshake because we all know that his milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard – anyway enough about Ollie Canning +65 9069#$%!. There wasn’t the usual 30mins team talk this week and it wasn’t because we were playing the French it was because Fraze aka Linda had the sh*ts on his new Vegan diet which includes Chicken…. so he had spent his warm up in the toilets. The game started well for us, nice shape, working hard and we could see that chances would come with our top 2 causing trouble…not the kinda trouble where the defender stud raked down Nicks back…but the scoring trouble. The French had their threats and as usual it was through Remi but asides from Remi the threats were not the same as in past seasons and we looked comfortable in defence with Captain Sherwin in his little red boots doing well marshalling Linda. Callum and Dyno were working hard in the middle and were on top and the wingers were looking good too….and we took a deserved lead with a tap in finish from leading scorer Nick who said he hates CBD. The French got level with a break away and finished at the back post by Remi. The game was in the balance but with Casuals in control and winning every tackle which was frustrating the French as they started to appear for a lot but the ref stood firm. New boy Joe scored on his first start after more good work from Nick. Joe a self-confessed Coventry fan, now supports the worst team within the entire club. Dan is relieved. H/T 2-1. Gaffer wanted more of the same. Steady spoke very little. We continued winning every tackle, every second ball and we were on top. The French couldn't cope with the physicality, spirit and energy, they were struggling and started to throw in some ugly challenges and appealed for everything but it wasn’t working as Causals stood firm. Dan came on for Wags who advised Andy they he couldn’t feel his legs…Andy thought he should probably come off. Dan, pumped up after 7 weeks in Australia leaving Hitchy-poo to cover him at work and make endless coffees for no one. A robust challenge from Dan resulted in a tantrum by the fouled player which was a little concerning on many levels but it was a yellow and nothing more. Oscar came on for the last 20mins meaning he’s played more Cosmo minutes than Steady this year. A third goal came from Dyno who always ups his game against his old friends – he bullied his way through 3 weak challenges, threw in a little turn and the defender then lobbed the GK for an OG but the pressure from Dyno caused this. 3-1. Game ended 3-1 a great result which was only tarnished by Frazer’s post-match 45min debrief. Tough game for the ref but he did well not to be fooled in to any tricks from either side. MOM Casuals – so many great performances but Dyno gets it. MOM French - GK

Bad day for OG who had only 9 players few hrs before kick off. We managed to get a few add on but definitly not enough to answer to the physical challenge and intensity Casual put into the game. We oened the score early and then stopped payg for the remaining 60min allowing casual to look sharp. Congrats to them for a deserved 3pts. Mom OG: Remy B Mom casual: andy for a good display in midfield
